Walter F. George Lake Recreation Area Adventures

Spanning the border of Alabama and Georgia, Walter F. George Lake, also known as Lake Eufaula, is a man-made lake that provides a myriad of recreational opportunities. The lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of the Walter F. George Lock and Dam in 1963.
